Job Description

HOODZ of Central Texas is looking for a Fleet Maintenance Technician in the San Antonio area. Previous automotive, mechanical and electrical experience a plus.

If you’re mechanically inclined, but not sure how to apply those skills, consider working for HOODZ. Once you’ve completed your training, you are given the space and tools you need to get your work done. 

Some responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Create and keep equipment ledgers of all maintenance performed on vehicles and equipment.

- Basic maintenance for vehicles and small engines (Pressure Washers) like fluids, filters, batteries, carburetors, etc.

- Repair/rebuild small engines, pressure pumps, unloaders, burners, etc.

- Maintain parts, tools and supplies inventory

- Support field operations

Be able to lift 50 lbs. or more, mechanical knowledge, etc.

Skills / Requirements

Technician must: Have a valid Driver's License 
Be able to pass a drug screening and criminal background check 
Be dependable; able to show up on time, read and understand safety plans and procedures 
Be physically fit; able to climb ladders to gain rooftop access to commercial establishments, able to lift and carry 50 lbs., a minimum of 100 feet 
Have excellent attention to detail and work fast and efficiently 
Be able to work flexible hours (night shift)
Be able to complete work projects from start to finish, with limited supervision 
Have good communication skills; able to communicate well with customers and provide direction to other team members 
Have the desire to learn quickly and be able to work in a fast paced work environment with a growing company 
Job duties include: Maintain and repair company's fleet consisting of pick up trucks and pressure washers. Occasional site visits to help replace belts or diagnose issues with exhaust fans.
