Commercial Kitchen Hood Filter Exchange Technician / Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Kitchen Hood Filter Exchange Technician to service restaurant clients by exchanging, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen hood filters. This role involves working in commercial kitchens, ensuring fire safety compliance, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Remove, replace, and transport commercial kitchen hood filters on a scheduled route
• Install clean filters and ensure proper fit and alignment
• Inspect filters and report any damage or safety concerns
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work vehicle and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and industry regulations
• Communicate professionally with restaurant staff and management
• Keep accurate service records and route documentation
• Load and unload filters (may require heavy lifting)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry 40–75 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working in hot, greasy, and fast-paced kitchen environments
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Previous experience in route service, maintenance, or kitchen exhaust systems is a plus but not required

Work Environment:

• Commercial kitchens, restaurants, and food service facilities
• Exposure to heat, grease, and cleaning chemicals
• Early morning, late night, or flexible shifts depending on route
