Customer Scheduling Coordinator
HOODZ is one of the largest kitchen exhaust cleaning companies in Iowa and is on a mission to be the largest and best by hiring amazing people and having the latest tools and technology.
As Scheduling Coordinator, you are responsible for building a multi-crew schedule and being the primary point of contact for customer inquiries. Your role includes working with customers over the phone to schedule jobs from an existing customer list, responding to customer emails, and answering inbound customer calls. You will play an integral part in the overall success of the company by determining the best scheduling and routing for our technicians. You will build and keep current customer profiles in addition to other administrative tasks. This job is not remote and will require 40 hours a week in the office, Monday- Friday (9am to 5pm).

The Job:
- Responsible for building out the schedule from an existing client list
- Solving scheduling puzzles while following processes and meeting nightly financial goals
- Calling customers to schedule jobs and making day of phone call reminders to customers
- Answering inbound customer calls for new service.
- Clearly explaining service and product options to customers
- Handling customer concerns with a friendly attitude that is focused on resolution
- Responding to customer inquiry and scheduling emails
- Updating customer contact, access, invoicing, and ownership information
- Building out technician work orders with following established processes
- Being the first point of contact for new customers, gathering all needed information and scheduling estimates
- Rapport building with customers is an essential part of this role
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:

- A self-starter attitude and ability to work independently and with a team
- High comfort level with being on the phone a majority of the day
- Previous phone related customer service experience
- Focused on getting details right the first time
- Being able to adapt to changes quickly and efficiently
- Valid driver's license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record
- Pre-employment drug test and criminal background check
- Professional appearance
- Current eligibility to legally work in the United States
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- Building out service industry schedules
- Experience working in restaurants or other commercial kitchens
- Working in an office environment
Education and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of computer systems and software
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Multi-tasking through system applications and accessing multiple tabs
- GED/High School Diploma
Compensation:
- Between $15 and $20 per hour based on experience and incentive pay
