Scheduler job profile
HOODZ SCHEDULER is a business critical office professional responsible for planning, organizing and managing schedules for multiple HOODZ Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Teams. The Scheduler establishes a relationship with HOODZ’s customers to coordinate their next cleaning cycle. This position requires excellent organizational and time management skills while still getting multiple interrupting phone calls from new customers inquiring. The Scheduler must be able to prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that deadlines are met. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure. The Scheduler using HOODZ’s Service Bridge system is expected to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of schedules, project timelines, and service job requirements. This is an entry level scheduler position reporting directly to the business owner that could grow to mid-level position as additional schedulers are hired as the business grows.
Scheduler job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Scheduler who will be responsible for managing and coordinating schedules for our growing company. In this position, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all service and estimate appointments are scheduled and performed on time. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with clients, service team team members, operations and the owners to ensure that everyone is on the same page.
Scheduler duties and responsibilities
- Develop schedules for multiple service teams that service customers 24 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. Each team could have multiple jobs per day.
- Coordinate with customers, shift managers, and team leaders to insure customer is on a prescribed frequency of service to maintain conformance with NFPA-96 and Fire Codes.
- Using Service Bridge prepare and maintain project schedules, including resource allocation and travel times.
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to schedules to ensure timely completion
- Identify potential scheduling conflicts and work with stakeholders to resolve them
- Communicate “special” project schedules and updates to team members and stakeholders
