Job Description

HOODZ of Southern Maine is hiring a full-time PM/Overnight Spray Tech position - experience preferred NOT required. 

Starting at $20 an hour with a raise to $21 after 90 days if you successfully complete training and have good attendance.

As a Spray Tech, you work with a crew leader to help prevent kitchen fires and keep commercial kitchens safe and clean.

We work as a team to get the job done do HOODZ quality standards.

PM Shifts are eligible for an additional $2 per hour differential on top of advertised hourly rate.

What does this role involve?

  • Degreasing and polishing restaurant exhaust and ventilation systems, from the kitchen to the roof, approaching work with a safety-first mindset.
  • Setting up the job sites as per HOODZ standards.
  • Power washing and cleaning the HOODZ way with specialized, tools and techniques.
  • Inventorying, stocking, loading, and unloading vehicles.
  • Driving work vehicles to clients' facilities.
  • Documenting the clean with notes and pictures.

What are the skills and requirements?

  • Must have integrity and be honest, sincere, and true to our core principles.
  • Positive attitude with a desire to work hard for the crews success every shift
  • Available to work overnight Sunday - Wednesday or Monday - Thursday between 5 pm and 5am
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Pass a background and motor vehicle check
  • Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Climb extension ladders to access rooftop portion of jobs
  • Ability to work on your feet for 8-10 hour shifts
  • Ability to work in small/tight areas (wiping down inside restaurant hoods/ducts)
