Technician (Night Shift) Pressure Washing Restaurant Vent Hood Systems: Learn Trade, Grow Career

We are an established company that pressure washes and cleans restaurant vent hood systems at night (730p-730a). We inspect and certify kitchen exhaust system which is a fire code requirement for any type of commercial cooking in kitchens.

We are currently hiring up to 3 people for the crew member position which does NOT require experience. We pay while we will train on the job and certify all of our crew members and provide opportunities to advance beyond if desired.

We also offer a $500 sign-on bonus.

HOODZ is a well established professional restaurant service company that started here in OKC. HOODZ has been inspecting and cleaning restaurant vent hoods all over Oklahoma at NIGHT for 30+ years and growing every day. In Oklahoma, we currently have 7 crews and our expanding to a 8th crew and beyond.

We offer competitive pay including full benefits (health insurance, paid time off, 401k, etc) after 90 days. The entry level crew member position averages $650-$725/wk plus benefits/perks and entry level crew leaders range between $700-$825/wk. Our crew leaders with more experience earn $43,000-$60,000+ per year. During the training period, new crew members will earn upskilling, master certifications, additional bonuses and thus increasing their value and advancing their career.

Additionally, HOODZ will pay a $500 sign-on bonus upon passing the background check, drug screen (medical cards allowed), and certification exams.

The Crew Member position involves helping the Crew Leader get the job done with a big emphasis on wiping down vent hoods (stainless steel) after the Crew Leader has pressure washed it and then mopping the floor. We usually clean 2-3 restaurants/night (while they are closed) and work Sunday Thursday night (approx 8p-5:30a)

This job is different because:

• it is at night (8p-430a)
• work independently with 2 person crew
• do not deal directly with general public
• the job is fast paced (never watching the clock)
• we reward and promote top performing employees
• weekly performance bonuses are given on top of normal hourly wages
• we drive company van to each job so their is "windshield time"
• we provide all on the job training and industry certifications

Skills/ Requirements:

• Must have valid driver's license***
• Have transportation to and from work
• Pass 7 year background check***
• Pass a drug test (medical cards allowed)
• No outstanding warrants
• Work in small/tight areas (wiping down inside of restaurant hood)
• Lift 100 pounds
• Work on feet for 10 hrs at a time
• Work on knees for 30 minutes at a time
• Must be able to squat and lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to climb ladder
• Must be available 7:30p-7:30a
